SELF DEFENCE FOR CHILDREN

infants JU JITSU

We understand that learning is most effective when it’s enjoyable!

When your child joins our classes, you are giving them a load of exercise disguised as fun.

That’s why we incorporate fun, active games into our training.

These aren’t just for downtime—they are strategically designed to quickly develop essential life skills. Sharpening focus, balance, and motor skills.

Our classes include fun interactive games and drills designed to teach Ju Jitsu moves and build a strong foundation towards your child’s understanding of self-awareness and self-defence.

All the while developing the physical habits they need to grow into fit and healthy young individuals.

Every child is different, and we love watching our students develop at their own pace.

SELF DEFENCE FOR GIRLS AND BOYS

JUNIORS JU JITSU

Our young students learn the practical application of self-defence which includes, blocks, strikes, escapes from grabs, throws, street awareness, and using their voice to set boundaries.

We don’t stop there. Instructors emphasise respect, focus, and resilience, which our parents report translates to better school performance, confidence and opportunities where their children have successfully stood up to bullies.

Our classes involve specialised games and drills to provide a full body workout to enable your child to get fit, reduce stress and develop teamwork.

Classes bring together children from all walks of life. We actively encourage our children to learn to respect each other, show humility and kindness, to ensure no child feels out of place.

TEENAGERS JU JITSU

Our mission at Ishin Ryu is to empower the next generation far beyond basic self-defense.

We run a dedicated program focused on holistic character development in a supportive and engaging environment.

We actively coach our students to become strong, resilient leaders. This means developing the inner courage to stand up for themselves against bullying, and to stand up for others who need support.

Through challenging and rewarding martial arts practice, they learn the value of discipline, respect, and responsibility—the core traits of true leadership.
