My daughter has been doing Ju Jitsu with Sempai Lou for over a year now and loves it! When I ask her why she loves doing the lessons she says, “I want to know how to protect myself.” It’s very empowering for her to be taught by a strong woman to speak up for herself and know how to be safe. Highly recommend.

My boys have been attending for the past three years. I attended the grading ceremony yesterday and it was really lovely seeing for the first time a glimpse of what they do. I think Jack is perfect for the class - he’s warm with them but still has their respect

Sempai Lou has great teaching skills, knowledge, experience and understanding of children with special educational needs and abilities. She has been great with my son who has Autism. This is a great opportunity for him to learn self discipline, confidence and physical skills for the future. Also great with the teenager group!

Signed myself and my son up here 9 months ago. My son really enjoys it and it's been great for my fitness and motivation. Instructors are excellent, with very clear instruction and they know how to push you to your limits, so you in turn can push past them. The founding ethos is one of respect, hard-work and no compromise in principles. This can be seen reflected in the achievement and attitude of all the students. I have enjoyed every minute of it and it's helped me get fitter than ever before. I normally go to the Borehamwood club but you can (and are encouraged to) go to any of the clubs for no extra cost - really is excellent value for money.

A great complete system of proper self defence that goes above and beyond what is taught elsewhere covering all aspects of ju-jitsu and beyond. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone and everyone dedicated to the martial arts whether their focus is grappling, sparring, throwing, striking, self defence, history, fitness, and everything in-between.
